Creative Investigation
In my History and Philosophy of Environmental Thought class, we had the option of creating a piece of art rather than writing a traditional final paper. It's been a while since I expressed myself in the form of arts n crafts, including through music which has been my chosen creative portal in the past. It's been even longer since I have explored this world in an academic context. So, here are a few pictures to tell the story of how I gradually built some of my ideas into the three dimensional. Many thanks to Stephen Nestmann for cutting the puzzle pieces and Erin Nestmann for driving me to the university once I'd realized there was no way I could carry this on the bus in one trip and Cynthia Morinville for helping me safely deliver it to the famous UBC Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (CIRS) building.
