Gypsy Soup from Moosewood cookbook. Deeeeelish.
It's a bit sweet, although there's some paprika and cayenne in there, thanks to the sweet potato and yam. There are also chickpeas, quinoa, celery, green beans, tomato, bell pepper, tomato, onion and garlic. Made enough to last through the week - still have three containers in 2-cup servings frozen for lunches on the run. I'd venture to say I hit this one out of the park. And in Vancouver, when it's cold and rainy, soup really hits the spot. A crusty piece of bread on the side seals the deal nicely.
